Polio Plus

Carol will discuss  the ongoing work in Polio Eradication and the integral part Rotary has played and continues to play as we come closer to global eradication. 

Carol is the current End Polio Chair (2016-2017) for District 6440.  She is the Past President, Rotary Club of Wilmette Harbor (2015-2016) has served as her club's End Polio Now Chair since joining Rotary in 2011.  In 2013, she traveled to Nigeria for a National Immunization Day with a group of International Rotarians led by the current District 6440 Governor, Rick Rivkin.  In June of this year, Carol observed the Stop Transmission of Polio training for a week at the CDC in Atlanta, GA.
